in version 5.27 you can set internal resolution of the emulator (game settings, per system advancend configuration, ps2) to 2x (=720p) or 3x (=1080p).
But be aware, that you need a beefy cpu and gpu for running ps2 games in 1080p with 100% speed.
In batocera we only have OpenGL for ps2 and that’s why the performance may be less in comparision with DirectX in pcsx2 under windows.
