Batocera known problem.

Hi Everybody,
I tested the batocera 5.26 version last night, there’re 2 problems: 1. the dolphin can not save configuration after run the game all definition restore original. also it was running the game with low performance, my computer can fully run RPCS3 enough, so it should be the dolphin problem. Compare with 5.25 version, 5.25 can play normally. 2. PCSX2 still old problem, the controller definition didn’t support non-PS controller, if I connect other brand’s controller, its d-pad up down left right direct didn’t work properly. So I hope the batocera development team can fix these problem on next version, thanks!

Currently 5.27 betas are beeing heavily tested, so i suggest you either update to betas to try to see if your porblems are corrected, or wait for 5.27 stable which shouldn’t be too long, maybe september

Having the same problems as singho1122 with ps2 controller and dolphin. limited controls on ps2 that can`t change and dolphin switches my arcade left controllers and buttons for the 2nd player and vise versa, very strange. I tried 5.27 beta and it ran extremely slow, main menu, sub menu, games, everything ran and strutted at a snails pace, so went back to 5.25. Hopefully some of these will be sorted in 5.27 for this great emulator platform.

could you describe your problem(s) in more detail please?
regarding performance in dolphin: this should be fixed in 5.27 and be the same as in 5.25 (in 5.26 the default (AUTO) internal resolution was set to auto, which was several times native resolution and caused bad performance on lower end graphics cards. In 5.27 default is 1x (native) internal resolution and you can set a higher resolution (and also other settings) in ES Game Settings, Per System Advanced Configuration).
