System does not start

I've burnt the image on the eMMC of my Odroid C2 but the system does not start at all :
- nothing on the screen
- nothing on the network

I've tried several versions (5.4 to 5.8) but none works. LibreElec works though !

yes, i've not made emmc work for c2.
somebody told me he would send me one, but i've never received it, so, i've never worked on the subject.

note that by sdcard, it works.
and emmc is not really required, is it ?

nadenislamarre Hi Denis. eMMC is snappier than SD card. Any chance you will make it work in the future? I purchased one with my C2 🙁

emmc is faster when io throughtoutput is required.
it's not the case on batocera. eventually, the boot is a bit faster.

nadenislamarre please consider an sd2emmc option for both c2 and xu4 as I specifically bought my odroidxu4 and the eMMC for gaming and I would like the internal storage option rather than an SD option.. As I bought the eMMC for this exact reason.. I'm not looking for a miracle.. Just an sd2emmc bootable image, similar to what lineageOS use in terms of installation..

Just so I'm not doubling over, I have added a new post regarding my experiences and so far they're pretty good.. Read the post and you'll see the rest of my issues.

Batocera works just fine as it is with eMMC as well. Only hickup happens when you try to boot from SDCard with eMMC module installed, then you need to edit boot.ini file to point to correct boot partition.

I do not have C2, but have XU4 instead, where I got the emmc boot to work with SD card inserted simply by changing the boot device/partition within boot.ini file.
