the 360 dongle works with 360 wireless controllers ;)
regarding your ps3 controllers: sometimes it helps to reset the controller first. to do that, you need a needle (or maybe a tooth-pick also works) and press the very tiny button in the hole on the backside of the controller for 10 seconds or so.
and you should check, that the ps3 controllers are fully loaded. if the battery is empty, then bluetooth pairing is not stable.
i’m using batocera either installed on a usb-thumb drive or on an SSD inside a 2.5″ sata to usb 3.0 adapter/enclosure (for external 2.5 sata hard drives).
