I am impressed by the number of power devices supported by Batocera and pre-setup in the configuration file which makes it incredibly easy to simple toggle on or off a supported power switch/button solution. This is a very useful and handy tool to have. I would like to request that the Petrockblock’s PowerBlock device to be supported by a future version of Batocera.

Unfortunately, as expected, the drive installation doesn’t work on Batocera for obvious reasons. I am not skilled enough to figure out if it’s possible to modify the scripts to run on Batocera or not.
The PIN56ONOFF is a good starting point for a power switch but it doesn’t seem to fully power down the device when a switch is turned to the off state like the PowerBlock does. The PowerBlock seems to do a better job of recovering from power loss when the device is shut down and handles the switch state better than PIN56ONOFF.
