Hello! Still having an issue with Dolphin in 5.27 (x86_64): Wiimote emulation is working in default/vertical orientation, but when I rename a rom with .side., .cc, or otherwise, then my controller is no longer recognized by Dolphin. The game will ask me to “please connect Wiimote” and will not take any input.

For example, if I play “Kirbys Return to Dreamland.wbfs”, I’ll get input, but it’s “rotated” because the game is meant to be played with a sideways wiimote. If I rename it “Kirbys Return to Dreamland.side.wbfs”, then the game will no longer take input from my controller. It just thinks nothing is connected, but I can still control the UI and other emulators. This is the same for all Wii games I’ve tested.

Using the latest 5.27 RC4 on a Dell Inspiron i7559 (2016) and an 8Bitdo SN30 Pro+ controller. In Dolphin, I have the Wii Remote settings set to “Emulate the Wii’s Bluetooth Adapter” and I’ve checked “Connect Wii Remotes for Emulated Controllers” and “Continuous Scanning” underneath. Weirdly, when I change Wii Remote 1 to “Emulated Wii Remote”, it will save that setting, but once I run a game and come back, it will have reverted to “Real Wii Remote.” I think this could be indicative of the problem?

nadenislamarre i should have the bios, ps2 previously worked fine… the fact i can’t enter pcsx2 from the applications menu seems a bit odd though. I’ll try and get a log to you when i got home later today

@shown309 es parameters takes the lead over the once in dolphin. if you modify a value in dolphin, it can be overwritten by es depending on the option. 5.27 will be released as it is. almost certain while i’m finnishing my own tests. I’ve not reproduced your bug ; i can investigate more after 5.27 is released ; for me while it seems to work as it is, i won’t delay 5.27 again.

Hello,

In the raspberry pi 4, batocera 5.27 rc4 with the flycast_libretro emulator (Dreamcast), it does not start the roms with CHD v5. If it does with CHD v4. Batocera 5.26 final, it works without problems.

For me the PS2 is working. I am using the Bios Version SCPH-70004_BIOS_V12_PAL_200. The only Thing is the known Problem with the right Analog Stick.

Strange. I’ll check my bios when i get a chance. Just think its odd that i can’t get into pcsx2 through the f1 menu.. surely it would get that far, even without a bios…

Hello, once again I want to congratulate you for the excellent work you have done. However, I still have a lot of problems playing Nintendo 64 on the Raspberry Pi4. In addition to not being able to access the menu where I can save the game, choose the save state, etc., there are games like Yoshi that continue to perform very poorly. Could you pay a little more attention to the 64 emulators in the next update?
I also had a lot of problems with Master System games, some games where the Start button doesn’t work, others where the loadings are quite extensive, and several bizarre ones where some games were. Thank you!

Hello, on RPi4 b 1.2 4Go using version “batocera-5.27-rpi4-20200910.img.gz”, ’cause on 5.26 stable i had only black screen.

Nowhere to adjust main sound volume on Audio settings?!? Strange or not??
Comming from “RecallBox” on a rpi3 i had some rom for “fba” and “fba_libretro”. putting them in the fbaneo folder..nothing is running.

rc4 problems in HDMI output with audio in video snapshots? and emulators, The sound menu does not appear via HDMI, (Driver AMD E1-1500 APU Radeon HD Graphics, mobile) thank you from Brazil, until the final version.

Hello, I have always problems with 15KHz with these versions of 5.27 because DVI-0 become DVI-I-1 :

I have a radeon card 7470 with two port : DVI-I (DVI numeric and analogic) and DVI-D (displayport only numeric).

Before the Batocera 5.27.

When I put in .xinitrc (5.22 to 5.26):
xrandr –newmode “648X480_15KHz_50Hz” 12.625000 648 672 736 808 480 534 539 625 -HSync -VSync interlace
xrandr –addmode DVI-0 “648X480_15KHz_50Hz”

I tested the 3ds and the Controlls are still mapped to the Keyboard which is not connected. I’ve made a clean installation.

Hi… Tested new libretro Scummvm and found this error message (Broken Sword 1, CD version)

MPEG-2 cutscenes found but scummvm has been built withouth MPEG-2 support

And DRASCULA game doens’t start (Run’s fine on Scummvm).

@nadenislamarre It should be considered as a bug. I have set ROMS catalog to external one folder in the network and the Batocera tries to connect before the WiFi connection is established. I am unable to use wire. I think it’s pretty easy to fix: let the Batocera connect WiFi before. What do you think?

annaparker Not a bug try to use sharewait=[value] in batocera-boot.conf
It is already done to establish wifi before mounting network devices.
