How to tell if AMD graphics card working properly?

I have a Dell optiplex 7010 ×86_64 with a AMD R5 240 1Gb PCI graphics card on v5.27

I have the screen running fine off of the DVI port on the video card but Im having some issues with Gamecube games.

Is there any way in Batocera to check the AMD Graphics Card is running ok and using the correct driver etc? I saw in some other posts that for Nvidia cards you had to uncomment out a line to activate the driver… Do I need to do this for AMD?

I got the AMD R5 240 1Gb PCI graphics card after watching an ETA_PRIME youtube video where he played gamecube games fine.

you can either see it in Kodi, System Information or in ES System Information OpenGL

In 5.26 the default internal resolution was the highest possible and caused alot of FPS issues. Have you checked the Dolphin config and tried other settings?

As far as I know AMD card should be good to go by default, atleast my RX460 needed no extra fiddling.

Video Card seems to be wokring ok - My Gamecube experience has improved by moving Batocera off of the USB 3.0 drive to an internal SSD.

Mario Kart for Game Cube works but Im still getting freezes in Wave runner and Simpsons Driving Game on Game cube. The games load but freeze in the menus or black screen.

Any ideas?

maybe these games have issues in general with dolphin emulator?
you can see here, which games should work perfectly fine and which have issues:

otherwise you could test those games with dolphin under windows (to see, if they work better or have the same issues)

gnome73 I have the same problem (freezes) when vsync is enabled. Could you please disable vsync and check if it works without freezes?
