astoufu Hello, i was wanting to try Nes Mini theme with Batocera, but i wanted to know if Batocera does have support for themes with Caroussel features of emulationstation. Does it have? I couldn't find wich version is being used on Batocera. Thanks
nadenislamarre emulationstation is no more updated from several months/years. batocera has the last version, but each project (batocera, recalbox, retropie, ...) customize emulationstation in several ways. i don't know which project added the caroussel.
danielmewhouse nadenislamarre I know that this could be a little late, but I don't wanna make a new topic to talk about the same thing that this topic is. The project that implemented Carousel features is RetroPie. The EmulationStation version on this project now is 2.5.x. For x86/x64 systems, Retropie has an Ubuntu compatible script to put the things together and make the system similar to the Raspberry Pi version. The problem is: RetroPie for PC has this features, but don't be "live usb" as Batocera is. Batocera is "live usb", but don't have Carousel feature. There's any chance of one "CrossOver" between Batocera and RetroPie to make things better?
nadenislamarre i want these feature too. unfortunatly, the number of contributors is low. i do my best, but it takes time to add things.
G22 Yeah I just made a topic on the same subject. Would be really great to integrate the same code or at least make it so we could use MotionBlue/Hyperpie romset preloaded with all video, snaps, box, etc. Just drop it and bam it works.
