Hi everyone,
I have recently setup Batocera on an old PC, found a romset .78 and got it up and running but I am trying to get the art, the build in scraper for the gamesdb seemed to only have box art/cabinet art not screnshots, and when i tried the screen scraper one it went through 2000 of the files but didnt actuallt grab anything but hit my API limit.
I have found an file with all the games images , screenshots etc but the names are not the right format compared to whats been imported prior.
Some people have suggested using selphs scraper from the ssh saying that its installed with Batocera but maybe its only the raspberry Pi version as the command is unrecognized when i try it.
some external apps (skraper) for windows seems to read the files, but cant shut down the service so it doesnt have access to write to the xlm file? so it dumps images and videos on the system but makes no changes. everything i find seems to be setup for the R-Pi version not the PC install.
is there any way i can get the art I have already scanned and imported automatically, or some effective way of getting my 4500 roms art installed? at the moment i have resorted to manually scraping the games i have marked at favorite. im getting so confused because tutorials i find are either from 2017 and have a much older system or are for the Pi so the instructions are not available..
any tips appreciated.
