Mupen64plus - mapping buttons

Hello,
I am taking the liberty of contacting you because I am unable to change the button mapping … when I use Mupen64plus and some games are unplayable. Is it possible to modify the mapping? Will this defect be corrected in the next updates?

This can be done by editing two files and running one command. You need remote ssh access to the odroid. Follow these steps:

Stop generating a configuration file before each game start. Locate and comment out the following lines in the /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/configgen/generators/mupen/mupenGenerator.py file:
# save the ini file
# if not os.path.exists(os.path.dirname(batoceraFiles.mupenCustom)):
# os.makedirs(os.path.dirname(batoceraFiles.mupenCustom))
# with open(batoceraFiles.mupenCustom, ‘w’) as configfile:
# iniConfig.write(configfile)
Making the change in step 1. permanent. Log in to the device via ssh and run the batocera-save-overlay command.
Finally - the button mapping. Find and edit file /userdata/system/configs/mupen64/mupen64plus.cfg.
Here in the [Input-SDL-Control1] section is the button mapping. If interested, I can give some examples.
