No, unfortunately. Contacted the hardware developer directly for a problem at one point and ashed about sending a unit to the batocera peeps and he said āheād do it himself eventuallyā and that it wasnāt a big deal⦠Problem is, if he does it himself it would only apply to whatever version of batocera he does it to. Any updates from there to a new clean version would lose the drivers as part of the upgrade. I donāt think experimental Pi sees batocera as being a big enough fish to care about. Unfortunately, even if that was true (and it probably is as far as total Piās running a gaming OS are) I think batocera is FAR more suited to the PiBoy than RetroPie. Something as open and customizable as RetroPie makes more sense on full blown setups with keyboard, mouse and expansion ports at the ready. Limited devices that have no keyboard, a small screen and are meant to be single-purpose deserve a powerful and focused version of a gaming os like batocera. And yes, I prefer batocera on everything, even PCs. Just saying itās especially better for single-purpose devices.
