batocera freeze when tern on or restart

hi guys
i download batocera 5.27 and write on ram
but sometimes batocera freeze on boot or on restart
i must hold on power button and turn on
how fix it ?

Me also, especially when I boot from eMMC but games are located on SD Kard (switch set correctly)
It boots w/o SD card but black screen after splash screen when SD is plugged-in

Still reproducible on 5.27.2.

If you are booting from EMMC with sd card inserted, you need to edit the boot partition inside the boot.ini file located in root of emmc drive. Otherwise the system will fail to boot with black screen. My XU4 is borked at the moment, but I think is was somewhere middle way, with where you just need to change dev/XXX d0 to d1 regarding the boot partition.
