After adding a few new Roms today my psx emulator is missing! It’s not showing up in the main menu. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
do your Roms have the correct file extension?
within the rom folder there is a file called: _info.txt, which names all accepted file extensions.
ROM files extensions accepted: “.cue .img .mdf .pbp .toc .cbn .m3u .ccd .chd .iso”
joinski the ROMs in format .chd dont work in version 5.27.
Yes, now I have tried a clean install of 5.27 moved all of my files and none of my roms are here….
could you be more precise/deliver more details please? what architecture (PC, RPi, Odroid etc.) are you using?
and what are the file extensions of your roms?
what do you mean by “none of my roms are here…”? i don’t understand
I am running on a PC x64. After another hd wipe and fresh install I was able to move all of my roms over and every system works with the exception of Play Station, I have tried every file type (.img, .iso, .ccd, etc.) but have had no luck getting any to run.
After tinkering with it most of the day I was able to get it to work. Not sure what I did but everything works now!
maybe it depends on the chd-version? did you try only chd v5?
but the issue with chd is currently under investigation (see discord chat)
joinski thanks for the feedback, I don’t know the format of the .chd file, but they are the roms I used in version 5.25 and 5.26 in Batocera on raspberry pi 3 and with the update when entering the game it gives a black screen and returns to the selection of games, hoping that you discover the cause of the problem and congratulations on the support to batocera, incredible system.
the .chd-file issue is under investigation and the devs are trying to fix it for the next version (see discussion on discord)
I recorded a system from 0 and the files in .chd format for psx ran normal, the problem occurred during the update of the batocera by the system, leaving the report here so that it can serve to fix this problem in a next update.
