The wifi/bluetooth connectivity issues seem to be linked to the USB 3.0 to SATA controller interfering with the wireless signals, based on a few others reporting similar issues. I didn’t experience the wifi issue you describe but I did have issues with my bluetooth gamepad not connecting once I started using an SSD in the cartridge slot (gamepad worked fine connecting via bluetooth prior to this).
The fix I tried was swapping the SSD USB connection from the USB 3.0 port on the pi to the USB 2.0 port next to it, and plugging the front-side USB 2.0 into the USB 3.0 port on the pi. Doing this restored my bluetooth connectivity and haven’t had connection issues since, though I’ll be testing this further. You might want to give it a try to see if it helps your situation.
