I’ve searched the forum, and found a couple of posts, with no real resolution. I am running Batocera 5.27 on an x64 system. Under Windows, LibreElec, OpenElec, or Ubuntu, I have NO problem using a Windows Media Center-type remote. My setup is actually an HP Media Center IR-USB receiver, and a Direct TV with one of the switch positions programmed for a Microsoft Media Center code. Works great, out of the box, NO configuration needed, on everything BUT Batocera. I switched to Batorcera to have an all in one retro gaming experience, and it works great. I have Kodi setup to start when the system is booted, so my wife and grandkids don’t have to worry about starting it from within Batocera. But they need to be able to grab the standard remote that they’ve learned how to use for the lest few years, in order to operate Kodi, not try to futz around with a controller.
Is there any solution to this?
