CHD games don’t work on Batocera 5.27 & 5.27.2 for Pi4

Hello,

When I try to launch a segacd game in chd format with Batocera 5.27 (clean install + bios ok), I got some text writing speedily on left corner of a black screen then black screen then go back to the game list (I don’t change any retroarch settings)

I tried with several games for same results. All my games are chd format so I don’t know if it work with other game format.

Same here on PI4 8gb, 5.27. Dreamcast CHD doesn’t work, worked on 5.26. Also noticed there’s an alignment error when I start any game, in any emulator.

I made some tests with several CHD games (segacd, saturn, dreamcast). They don’t work on Pi4 arch but games work if they are in “classic” format cue+bin (segacd & saturn) & gdi (dreamcast). The last Batocera update (5.27.2) don’t fix this issue 😞.

CHD games are broken in 5.27.x for Dreamcast/Naomi. Sega CD works as expected at least on the latest version (5.27.2).

The ROMs in .chd format of the Playstation emulator are giving an error when starting, the screen goes black. In Raspberry Pi3. This problem is the same of version 5.27.

I updated Batocera today and I’m having the same issue with Saturn and Dreamcast (unhandled alignment exception) when opening the game.
CDI works fine but CHD are broken.

Confirmed, I have Batocera 5.27.2 in Raspberry Pi 3B+, tested my CHD files of SEGA CD, Pcengine CD, Playstation and Dreamcast and doesn’t work (same CHD files in another microSD with Recalbox and runs OK).
