No sound over HDMI [SOLVED]

I have installed to Batocera to PC to allow Batocera to boot directly on startup.

However there’s no audio from HDMI. Kodi is able to play audio from HDMI when the right output is selected, however there’s no option in the Batocera menu to select the audio. There is however audio output from the 3.5mm jack.

Most grateful if anyone can help.

you can change the audio output device in the Batocera Menu under System Settings, Audio Output.
after you change the output device you have to reboot to make the change take affect.
