luximo joinski its on every emulator like on the sides of the actual game. you know when you scale resolution to 4:3 but dont allow it to stretch and there are black borders but in batocera there are borders for example on nes there will be nes like borders with power button and everything
Alucard luximo It doesn’t do that on every emulator: only libretro emulators from what I know. It should be the overlay functionality of retroarch/libretro. You might want to have a look at this page: https://docs.libretro.com/guides/libretro-overlays/ I never tried to remove the overlays as I kind of like them…but I think you should find more details about how to get rid of it in the doc above…
gadarf You can configure this directly from the batocera menu. Go to the main menu -> game options -> overlay -> none And go to game options -> screen format -> 16/9
