PSX Emulator Mednafen not saving config

Hi! first of all, thank you for your excellent work @nadenislamarre. I´m enjoying Batocera from earlier versions.
A few days ago, I updated my system to v5.27, and later to v.5.27.2 (beta upgrades). Aside from the inverted right analog problem in PCSX2 that still remains, everything works as intended. But I have a little problem with Mednafen core for PSX in Retroarch. I´ve used to set this core with 8x native, 32bit color, internal resolution, and other tweaks ON like widescreen hack, and PGXP modes. Works like a charm in v5.26. The games looks wonderful. But now in 5.27, everytime I close the emulator, this settings are not saved. I´ve already check the .conf files multiple times, but everything is set to default as soon as I´m back at main menu (ES). I´m running batocera on x64 PC, i5 4460, 16gbram, nvidia drivers ON. I have the same problem, in the 5.26 version all ok, in the 5.27 dont save the configuration.

I ve got the same Problem with the mednafen Core. I ve noticed the same Issue with the Saturn and Gba.

It’s working ok for me 5.27. Try the following:
In retroarch, go to Settings > Configuration > Use Global Core Options File, set to OFF
Set your native 8x, 32bit colour, etc.
Then go to Main Menu > Configuration File > Save Current Configuration

chrisg it works! But slightly different for me. Instead of Save current configuration, once the global core option is turned Off, I’ ve had to choose: Save NEW Configuración, which creates a new file for mednafen. Anyway, it works, and your message gave me hope to try one more time. Thanks amigo! 😉

Dont work for me, i save the configuration per game and it work, but per core no.

gadarf Global Core Options File, set to OFF

Global configuration changes (like Settings > Configuration > Use Global Core Options File, set to OFF) can be done from the main Batocera menu, pressing F1 for Files, selecting Applications with your mouse and making changes there. For this initial change you won’t be able to do it from within a game.
