Thanks for the update! @[deleted]
Emulators:
- NES ✅
- SNES ✅
- N64 🏁 (it works with games like Mario Kart 64 using the standalone version of mupen64plus, but others like MK Gold run slow. The performance for libretro cores is even worse. Also, parallel64 libretro core was removed compared to the previous version)
- GBA ✅
- Arcade (FBNEO) ✅
- PSX ✅
- PSP ✅ (I’m impressed with the performance, games like Burnout Legends work great)
- Megadrive ✅
- Sega CD ✅ (it was previously reported that CHD games were broken in 5.27, but it worked as expected)
- Dreamcast ✅
Flycast CHD games:
CHD games for Flycast libretro core are broken in 5.27.x, that includes naomi and dreamcast. This issue is not specific to this board, it can be reproduced in others as well.
Audio:
N64 libretro cores and above cut off in an intermittent way. It’s not reproducible running standalone emulators.
Connectivity
Scraper:
It doesn’t support m3u lists for Dreamcast.
Kodi:
It boot ups correctly, although, just a blank screen is reproduced (you can still hear the audio)
I agree with Cyperghost, this is by far the most stable release for the Tinkerboard.
PS: @[deleted] we could create a template, similar to a regression plan for us to know what we have to pay attention to every time we test a new release, and just check the boxes.
Also, how are we tracking/managing the bugs?
Thanks!
