Amiga emulation problem

Hi !

First of all congrats for this great piece of software :)

I have some troubles with the Amiga emulation, specially with some really old games, Extreme Violence, an Amos game, and Master Blaster, a great Bomberman clone.

ForExtreme Violence, I put the adf in the A500 directory. When I launch the game, I end up with the famous hand holding a disk asking for 1.2 system. If I press F12 and go into UAE menu, in Quickstart, I don’t see any disk in DF0:

I sounds really strange… How could the game launch if the disk isn’t in ?

For Master Blaster, in WHDLoad format, I have the same message that comes again and again :

ERROR DOS #205 : Object not found, on reading … Kicks34005.A500

I have all the mandatory bios so I don’t understand.

I have tried of course with various versions of the game, and this game was working fine in another distribution so there is something strange here…

If @voljega could help me :) I know he is really good with these Amiga stuff :D

Edit : I forgot to say that I was using Batocera on a RPi 4 with 4 Go of RAM…

Ohhhh so I’m taking request now ?? ;)

There is one bug with amiberry on Batocera is that if you use an external share for your roms, you have to use a partition format compatible with symbolic links - that is NTFS as FAT32 and exFAT are not compatibles…

Try that because this bug you have seems to be exactly this one…

If you are not using a external share… try using an external share in NTFS :) The error might appear even with internal share if it’s in the wrong format but I’m not sure.

For the DF0 error yes, it’s a nightmare ;)

As always you got it right :D

My SSD is indeed in ExFat :(

I will give it another shot, but my god Amiga emulation on RPi is still far from beeing an easy task :)

On RB 7.0, the mouse isn’t even recognized on my Rpi 4… How one could use an Amiga without a mouse :) ?

But I would really love to play on my bartop to Master Blaster, Extreme Violence and AMOS Dogfight, my children love these games !
