Thanks for adding Cemu and RPCS3 in 5.29dev

I succesfully loaded Wii U Games, and booted RPCS3 after configuring it from the Application page.

I have a bug in RPCS3 GUI while using nvidia proprietary drivers, all the infos are garbled. disabling nvidia driver shows the gui correctly
from the info.txt in the roms ps3 folder i see that .ps3 files are the supported ones. U mean i have to rename the ps3 game folder ending with .ps3 ?
Vulkan for my geforce 710 is now supported and available for dolphin and rpcs3 while was unavailable in 5.27.2

try to add global.dpi = 96 to batocera.conf, fixed RPCS3 GUI for me
that is correct, add “.ps3” to the folder name.

what kind of rip have you tried with cemu? i only could run wux file. could’n find a way to run loadiine version.

I cann’t open cemu.config in app folder, I am going to install last beta(27102020)
But I don’t understand what I have to write into the the keys.txt file with an iso wux.
on the other hand, in rpcs3 I must follow the steps as if would be windows?

gadarf Tried Tokyo Mirage Sessions 30FPS with my old CPU/Geforce 710 vulkan driver.

Considering that works under wine i think works pretty good

for cemu i used a .wud compressed it in .wux with decription key in keys.txt (u need to create a keys.txt in bios folder under a cemu folder) /userdata/bios/cemu/keys.txt)

i don’t think loadiine are supported (in cemu roms dir the info.txt point to .wud .wux ad .wup)

maybe u can add the game folder directly into cemu hdd folders, haven’t tried it though. but then you need to run the games from cemu gui, instead of ES

when you run the ps3 game from ES did it open rpcs3 gui or starts?

Hi i am running batocera v29 including all bioses and was able to enable the nvidia-driver=true so most games up to ps2 are running pretty fine i have an issue when i try to start the RPCS3 config the GUI is somhow muffled and i dont see the menu correctly i have also tried the suggested gloabl.dpi=96 settings but the issue is the same can you please be more specific on the batocera-boot.conf probably share yours config to know ehre the line exactly fits into the config file.

Cemu runs pretty good for me with 2 Issues. There is no Sound ingame at Cemu and I can’t leave the Wii U Game, but it’s very early in development. I am very happy to see its running so well in this early stage.

Lewi Audio is disabled because you have to choose primary sound card in the audio config tab and pull up volume. only thing if i reboot all settings are lost

rpx is a Data Format for Wii U Games like wux or wud. It was supported in the Beta 20201020. In Beta 20201024 ist doesent work anymore. I know that this an very early Stage of Batocera 5.29, just an Information to support the Devs.

I’ve tested the Rpx Files an hour ago and it works great. The Sound now works too.
… But I have a just one little more Question 😉How do I integrate the Ps3 Firmware? I’ve done it within Windows before but can’t get it to work in Batocera.

a specific System just for testing the Batocera Beta Versions… If I can test anything to help you, I will do it. My System Ryzen 3600 Geforce 1660 16 Gigs of Ram.

HoRoBi I have followed all the steps but the wiiU games do not start me I already have the keys in bios / cemu / keys.txt
the games in wad format but it does not start me help

Hello good friends, my cemu does not work and I put the game and the keys in the bios / cemu / keys.txt folder
and when I execute from emulationstation it does not start but and from the f1 key applications instead I do not run the emulator cemu some correct way to start the games and tested the game in wud and wux format

dylan4312 the game needs to be in the /roms/wiiu folder.
i only tried .wux games not .wud.
the cemu config is currently broken on my system 20201027 i get an /usr/bin/batocera-config-cemu: line12: wine: command not found. try ctrl+alt+f3 to see the log after trying to start cemu.

Lewi Press F1 on the main batocera screen. Fire up RPCS3-config. Choose File -> Install Firmware 😉
if you try to check missing bios i saw that the system tries to find PS3UPDATE.PUP also in /bios folder. So i also added it there.

Example of keys.txt:

this file contains keys needed for decryption of disc file system data (WUD/WUX)

1 key per line, any text after a ‘#’ character is considered a comment

the emulator will automatically pick the right key

HoRoBi thanks, wiiu and ps3 already works, one last question to run windows games in wine, I know what to put in .exe but I don’t want the sub folders to be seen, how can I compress the files in .wine, is there any guide?

That’s the way I’ve tried to get it to work, like in Windows… But I can’t pass the Infoscreen with the Quickstart Informations. My PS3 Firmware is the correct one.
