Hi Folks,
Some days ago I finished building a portable based on a Raspberry Pi Zero running batocera 5.26, with controllers and display connected to GPIO. Everything worked fine, and I could use SSH to remotely log into the system and change settings, transfer files, etc.
Yesterday I updated to 5.27.2 and the following problems started:
1) The GPIO controller is messed up. Some buttons (like A, B) are not recognized anymore. Select, which was a button, now is being recognized as “Axis 1+”. Other buttons are recognized fine. I double checked the mapping on batocera.conf, and it is exactly as it was on 5.26, when it was working. The mapping is:
controllers.gpio.args=“map=4 gpio=19,16,26,20,6,12,17,15,27,22,23,5,12”
2) SSH is also acting weird. Connecting to the Pi is very slow, often characters I type on the PC are never sent to the Pi. Sometimes the connection drops entirely. No changes were made to my home network or my home PC in the meantime. The only thing different is the new version of Batocera.
Is anyone experiencing the same problems? I saw someone on Architectures/Raspbery Pi 3 also complaining of GPIO controllers not working correctly, maybe the problems are related?
Regards,
