linuxfan1431 hello, there is a bug with original gameboy emulation. the first game after a reboot always works flawless, but when you exit the game (hotkey) and select a different gameboy game, then the screens stays always black. no batocera logo. no game. but you can hear the gameboy game music. the only way to fix this, is to restart the raspberry pi 3 after each gameboy game. this is pretty annoying. maybe you can fix this? thanks!

linuxfan1431 thanks, it fixed my problem! :-) 👍 the developer should fix this bug in the next update. for everyone with the same problem, open the config file and replace global.videomode=CEA 4 HDMI with global.videomode=default
assassin316 linuxfan1431 Worked for me too!! 🙂 I had the exact problem with nes roms after first launch. @nadenislamarre , there are currently 3 threads on the first page of this RPi3 forum that all relate to this black screen issue. Would it be better if "default" was the default value in the config file?
nadenislamarre it's better to not set it to default. there is a bug, i prefer to fix it than to hide it. can you reproduce and send me a report (menu > system > information > report)

luizthiago I have the same problem ...the only form to works correctly is set "global.videomode=default" ..but with this modiffication , the kodi works OK, but, if you exits the kodi, the resolution of emulationstation is small and i have to restart system to works ok on my TV ....
