nadenislamarre Dude, I did a test now and reported the result:
As I told you, my control identified the directional arrows (up, down ...) in the same way as the analog J1 (they were both identified as Axis) ...
But yesterday I did a test, I pressed the button "mode" that "turns on" the analogue of the control of playstation 2 (same layout) and made the configuration of the control again ...
I noticed that with this mode enabled, the control recognizes the normal and analog directional arrows (they are recognized as Axis and Hats) ... I then made the complete mapping of the buttons and entered the kodi ... it worked correctly! Directional and analogue control the entire Kodi without any problem!
So, I think the problem then is this: in kodi version 16, both control modes were functional ... already in Kodi 17, only if both buttons (axis and hats) are configured, the control Will work fine! I think the key to solving the problem lies in the type of control configuration that kodi17 is only accepting if it is full analog.
The "problem" of setting it up in this way is that the control only works on the EmulationStation if the "mode" button is pressed and set the control set to analog, just as it has been configured ... and in this way, only I can control the "directions" in the emulationStation using the directional arrows ... the analog J1 does absolutely nothing and does not control anything in the EmulationStation if the control is parameterized in this way! how you can solve this problem ?
thanks
