Bluetooth connection won't re-establish on reboot

Hi there!
First off I would like to add some info for other users who might be seeing occasional "spontaneous" reboots of their Odroid XU4 -> stop wasting time and get yourself a better power supply!
I have lost too many hours trying to figure out why my Odroid XU4 was behaving erratically only to find out it was all about "too little juice".

Now that this is out of the way - here's my real issue. 🙂
I have configured two 8BitDo (running 4.0 firmware) and they work great.
But unfortunately they will not reconnect after a reboot.
Currently I would need to "Forget Bluetooth Connections" and reconnect every time.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

strange.
however,
when bluetooth works fine, files are in a temporary directory in /var/lib/bluetooth
when batocera shuts down, it saves the bluetooth configuration to /recalbox/share/system/bluetooth/bluetooth.tar

the 1st question is : are the connection information saved correctly ?
do you find the file /recalbox/share/system/bluetooth/bluetooth.tar ? and it is not empty ?
