snes trouble

Hello,
i have setup batocera 29 on rpi4, but having a couple of problems…

1) it is not recognizing the left and right pads on the controller i have. The controller is a wireless controller that looks like the original SNES controller. other controllers types (logitech) are ok.

2) The game super Mario All Stars wont launch super mario 2,3, or super mario world. It starts the initial rom ok, but when selecting those games in the menu after launching the rom, .it wont play. just makes a clicking noise and a black screen. no errors. super mario 1 plays ok inside all stars , but not the others . all other SNES roms play ok.

what can i do?

Es el mismo problema que tengo yo con el rom de Mario All Stars en SNES si hay alguna solución please

problem #2 is resolved by doing the following…
go to SNES
in the advanced system options and or advanced game options
change emulator from “auto” to “SNES \ Liberto”
(i also turned off smooth games- not sure if that matters or not though)
now all those games are working inside super mario all stars.
mario all stars works great now. :)

Problem #1 … is resolved now also
The name of the controller is YSTEK MICREAL USB Gamepad , everything works except left and right on the gamepad for some reason. I think its a driver problem. The controller works on Windows 7 no problem.

Update…
I ended up buying the iNNEXT controllers located here…

they physically look identical to what i had previously- (The YSTEK MICREAL), but there is a difference because these work on the rpi4 ok.
it would have been better to get a driver for the old ones, but since i don’t how how to program that, this solution is ok. Hope this helps someone else.
