Quick System Select setting disappeared after .29 upgrade ?

I updated my Batocera 5.27.2 ×64 to the latest .29 release.

I seen the Quick system select : on/off option is no more available in the EmulationStation’s UI settings. This function was very usefull, it disable the left/right action for the cross button to avoid the possibilty to switch inadvertently onto another emulated system while we’re browsing the game list.

Is there a config file where I can fix manually this option, to get it works as before ?

Added this line in /userdata/system/configs/emulationstation/es_settings.cfg :
<bool name="QuickSystemSelect" value="false" />

Then restarted Batocera but it doesn’t fix.

It has since been put back, I suggest you upgrade to 29

voljega You probably meant “upgrade to .30-dev”.
So yes I confirm, the Quick system select option will be back in the Batocera .30 release.

I installed the last unstable release from https://mirrors.o2switch.fr/batocera/x86_64/unstable/last/ as a fresh one to an USB drive. Then I was able to find Quick system select : on/off. And it works like before. But note now the option is available under the Operating System > Developer menu.
