i've not enabled it for pc.
the reason is that at this step of the boot,
the xorg drivers are not loaded, the video plays on the framebuffer,
for some pc it would work, for some it would not, depending on the status of the framebuffer developpment on the gpu, so, to not have 1 hundread of issues and configuration to handle, i just didn't enabled it.
once the video driver is loaded, it's when es start, it's too late in the process to play a video.
on the rpi, everybody has the same hardware, so, it's easier.
