Takes a million tries to quit a game using the SELECT+START combination

I don't know if this is an issue in my build only but whenever I am in a game I have to press the SELECT+START and million times before the combination actually works and the game exists. Sometimes I finally give up and press the ESC on the keyboard. Is it because I have a keyboard connected to my ODROID XU4?

I am using a USB to Dualshock converter and have connected a DualShock 1 to the adapter. I press my SELECT and START button many time and sometimes keep them pressed but it doesn't quit.. I don't wanna wear out my select and start buttons.. 🙁 🙁

have you tried to reconfigure you pad via the menu ?
the hotkey is the key allowing combination when press together with start for example.
often, when there is no extra button like on the wiimote or the px3 controller, select is used as hotkey.

nadenislamarre Dear sir! Apologies for my naaiveness.. I did reconfiguration and then it started working properly.. I am so sorry for this stupid mistake at my end... I remember I had pressed my dualshock Select button so hard.. Oh God I hope I have decreased the life of that button... thank you again humbly!

Might be a dualshock in general since my ps4 dualshock 4 controller did the same thing. Other controllers worked fine 🙂
