Rpcs3: L1 and R2 are changed. Tested with 3 different Joypads.
Pcsx 2: White Borders around the Screen when the Ratio is 4:3 with no Bezels. In former Versions it was black. For me personely this was better. Maybe I have unseen an Option. Joypad in Pcsx2 now working perfectly for me. Great work.

FMTowns games on CD do not work.
MUGEN games in the mugen folder do not load, but in the Windows folder they do load, the blue screen appears and then the game works perfectly.

@Lewi Rpcs3: L1 and R2 are changed. Tested with 3 different Joypads. : good catch. fixed.

Pcsx 2: White Borders : i try to see if i can change that quite easyly

MAME core seems broken on x86_64 => can somebody else feedback ? there are regularly romset mistakes.
Screen display problem on atari 800, yes noted to be fixed.
FM Towns games seems not working => i don’t know what it is.
MUGEN games => yes, it is to be finished.

Hi… This is my test (Arcade cabinet with x64 System and two Dragonrise Usb Joystick)

MAME - Selected emulator =“AUTO” - Game doens’t start
MAME - Selected emulator =“FBA” - Runs OK
MAME - Selecter emultator =“LIBRETRO - MAME” - Game doens’t start
MAME - Selecter emultator =“LIBRETRO - MAME0139” - Run OK
MAME - Selecter emultator =“LIBRETRO - MAME078 Plus” - Run OK
MAME - Selecter emultator =“MAME” - Game Start with NO BEZELS, and the joystick doens’t work. Can play with a keyboard.

If you need more test, i can try to help.

Have make fix for mugen I’ll let you watch it work
FM Towns is not easy not all games work with the emulator only some games work.

I don’t now if this is a Bug or a mistake on my Settings, but I have this in all Versions with Rpcs3. When I close a Game in 90% a Window apears that tells “stopping Emulator took to long”, and I have to press Return on an attached Keyboard to leave the Game.

Ok … Maybe I should have given more explanations.

I have several romsets from mame. The tests are made with roms belonging to the romset 0.225 and 0.227

In version 5.29 of batocera (with the roms that I have tried this time), all emulators work (Even if it is not the corresponding one)

In this version, using roms of the romset 0.225 and 0.227 and leaving the emulator selection on automatic, no game works.

If you enter advanced options and select the last option (THE ONE THAT IS ONLY CALLED … MAME), the game starts, but the joysticks do not work.

borgia you use a specific romset with the emulator in the same version, so in your case you should use your romset only with libretro/mame and standalone/mame.
using any of the other emulators with this romset doesn’t make any sense.

and actually I think the standalone one is based on 0.228 so you should use that before reporting any trouble
would be also better to try with several games if you didn’t and give the rom name of the ones not one working, emulation of a specific game might be broken in latest mame for instance

PS2 - Ratchet & Clank. The main character has graphical glitches all over him. Was fine in 29.
And intermittently when exiting a game using hotkey+start, it freezes and never exits back to ES.

PS3 - Trying to load the BIOS file, the progress bar runs to 100% quite fast then the RPCS3 emulator exits. As the BIOS didn’t install properly I can’t run a PS3 game.

x86_64 with Ryzen 5600x and GTX1650.

About PS2 I think there are problems with GS plugins. If I try to start bios from application PCSX2 says that’s there are problem with plugins. I don’t know how to insert an image in this forum.

as on 29, the Batocera loading screen with the loading bar showing all systems doesn’t show on startup on N2.
it does shows when refreshing the games list from EmulationStation though

Can confirm the issues with the ratchet and clank games. Same issues but much worse in the Jak games, probably related to black eye fix for Jak games? Possible to bump the pcsx2 version and see if that fixes it?
