have tried both the 64 and 32 bit version (v29) on a Dell OptiPlex gx620 with 4Gb RAM
get a splash screen and then a black screen, have left it for about 10 minutes, is something going on in the background that I should just leave it for awhile longer or did something go wrong?

i also tried this on a Compaq TC4400 laptop with 4Gb ram and get the same - splash screen and then blank screen
tried 2 different USB drives - one 4Gb and one 16Gb – neither boot to anything :(
able to boot to a USB bootable Ubuntu so I know that both computers do work
any help is appreciated! :)

have tried 2 different USB drives - an old laptop drive (60Gb) and an 8Gb drive
have tried burning the image with balenaEtcher and Win32DiskImager - both fail (unable to install :(
have tried a 3rd computer - also a Dell OptiPlex - unable to install there :(
found older versions (atleast versions that have been available before v29 - 5.25 and 5.23) and the newer 30 beta – tried all on (i think) every combination of USB drives computers and image burning software – all fail! :(
obviously doing something wrong! BUT WHAT!?!?!!? :)

3rd edit - not sure if anyone is reading and if this is providing any useful information to solve this issue
was scanning the network for something else and noticed that the computer (the first Dell OptiPlex that i am trying to get working, did not try on the Compaq laptop but guessing the same applies) is grabbing an IP address - so i looked and can connect to the share – so something is going on - the video is not working for some reason - which would make sense (sort of) for the desktop computer but not for the laptop, so i tried a different monitor (well really the first monitor, since the desktop computer is attached to a large screen TV which is where i would like to be playing the game if i can get this working) and the same happens, splash screen and then a black screen
so some questions, how is the computer getting an IP address if it is not setup? or is it setup just not displaying?
