Starting a game take too long

Hi,

When I launch any game, I have a black screen until it starts after maybe 30 or 40s.

I already had this problem with my old rpi3 and recalbox so I think it's an issue with emulationstation and retroarch.

I can't confirm it right now but I remember having no problem with N64.

Anybody know how can I fix that? (any log to delete or temp files?)

Nosfay Hi! I can confirm that I dont have this issue with my XU4, do you boot from the eMMC or SD card?

I boot form SD card, and no problème with it (I tried 2 SD).

on a fresh install with basic options ?
it did that when retroarchivement was enableon psxthe time to compute the md5. but nowi dont know how you can obtain this.
dorest it happen if'etwork is off?

I've still got this problem, pretty annoying.
I did a fresh install with 5.16 + roms on an USB key.

It takes 40s to launch a game with retroarch (snes, psx, etc...) and 5s to launch a game with mupen64 or dreamcast .
