Language settings have no effect in Dolphin ?

Hi, I’m currently trying to play Zelda : Wind Waker in french in Batocera with Dolphin but it keeps starting the game in English.

I changed Batocera language to French, and if I Ctrl + Tab to access Dolphin menu while playing I can go to options => configuration => Gamecube => System Language and the System Language parameter is set to Francais. I even checked the Dolphin.ini file in the system/configs/dolphin-emu directory and the “GameCubeLanguage” parameter is set to “2”, which is the value for French according to https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=GameINI . So I don’t understand why the game is still running in English.

I installed Dolphin on Manjaro, set “System Language” to French and the game ran in French without issue.

I there something about Batocera language management I would have misunderstood ?

I figured it out : I had launched the game once in English, then the emulator had created a memory card file which storedthe language. I deleted those files and now the game runs in the correct language.
