Hi guys 🤖
Since several years your Batocera.linux system has been THE reference for your handheld consoles. We were among the first to see the first on certain models to offer a fully functional retro-gaming operating system 🦾
We strive to do our utmost to provide you with a quality experience 🙌

This is what we support at the moment :
These are the 4 biggest consoles most used
RetroFlag - GPi Case
Here is the very first console supported by Batocera.linux! The RetroFlag GPi Case! This little boy is supported since Batocera.linux 5.22 in June 2019
Short official description:
As a homage to the 8-bit handheld game console, Game Boy, not only does it carry the same looks, it also includes additional features like X/Y buttons hidden L/R shoulder buttons as well as POWER.
It is a very interesting small console that works with a small Raspberry Pi 0 or Raspberry Pi 0W. The product quality is really good as always with RetroFlag! This console allows you to operate several consoles that are not too cranky in resources! It is possible to emulate up to the PlayStation 1 but it has no use on this kind of product 😉
HardKernel - Odroid Go Advance v1 and v2
The HardKernel Odroid Go Advance v1 and v2 is supported since Batocera.linux 5.25 in March 2020
The Odroid-Go Advance is a portable console sold as a kit that allows you to emulate up to the PSP! Incredible! It is therefore a very powerful portable console!
Unfortunately we have to assemble this console ourselves… (which can be complicated for some people)
I find the design rather simple and the general quality of the product a bit cheap (you will understand why a little lower)
The value for money is really interesting but beware of the high customs costs 💸 and the product warranty valid for a few days in the event of a problem ! 🤡
RKConsole - RK2020
The RK2020 is supported since Batocera.linux 5.25 in March 2020 because it uses the same architecture as the HardKernel Odroid Go Advance v1 and v2
Indeed the RK2020 is an HardKernel Odroid Go Advance v1 and v2 because it is a copy of the original product! The RK2020 uses the same hardware but has a few more advantages! It comes pre-assembled (it’s amazing dude), the product quality is pretty good and the joystick is better. There is also a micro sd with a usb adapter.
But beware of the first productions which have battery problems! (Corrected in the last productions)
Rather, it is a very good product that has surprised more than one person! Very good value for money but at the same time, it is important to remember that it is forbidden to sell this product with an open source operating system… 👮
Anbernic - RG351P
The RG351P is supported since Batocera.linux 5.25 in March 2020 because it uses the same architecture as the HardKernel Odroid Go Advance v1 and v2 but there will be some incompatibility issues which will be fixed in the next version of our Batocera.linux system
It’s the best portable console for me today! Because this console is not expensive and of excellent quality! The little guys from Anbernic are really good. The screen quality is really good for this small console, it holds the battery charge is pretty good. The buttons are well placed, there is a stereo sound and not mono, it exists in 3 colors, what more could you ask for?!
The hardware remains similar to Odroid Go Advance v1 and v2 but the quality is quite different. There is a big flaw at the moment with this console, the wifi chip is intentionally disabled because it causes interference with the speakers…
As with the RK2020 it is important to remember that it is prohibited to sell this product with an open source operating system! 👮
Conclusion:
If we had to remember that only one console it would be the RG351P console from Anbernic! Don’t be afraid to order it, it’s really a very good console despite the wifi problem. I think they will improve on this point and offer a product update soon? 🤔
In any case for the price I am very happy 🥰
Do not hesitate to go to Belchine to order one of these consoles: https://www.belchine.net/
