I’m using Batocera for an arcade machine so I only want certain directories, eg, Naomi, Mame, etc. However, whenever I reboot Batocera (it’s on a Pi 4) it redownloads all the files.
Eg, if I delete roms/zxspectrum, it’ll be recreated. If I deleted roms/pcengine it’ll be recreated with those two homebrew games in there. One option is to empty the directories and write protection but it seems like there must be another way to stop Batocera re-downloading deleted directories and file.
I’ve made sure update is set to off in network but it still reinstalls the default directories and files I’ve deleted. Is there some setting I’m missing?
