ISSUEs with 5.30+3TB HDD

installed the lastest 5.30 problem is i used rufu and etcher both written via thumb drive and directly to HDD and both wont use the full 3TB storage, under linux mint i can see the the drives are present with size and used partion but once batocera loads i get 99% used for userdata wish is 250mb and only 6GB for share data. why wont it use the full 3TB?

It is just 30 and not 5.30 (the naming has changed from Version 5.27.2 to 29, see changelog)

new version is 29. the 28 was 5.27. the 1st (with the same technical arch) was 5.0.

For your issue just go to System Settings, Developer, Format A Drive and format your drive there and reboot. After that you will be able to use the full capacity of your drive. In the next version (31) this issue will be fixed, so that you do not have to use this workaround method anymore.

joinski yup converting ext4 to ext3 fixed the problem now batocera is reading the correct storage

okay ill give this a try, im in the process of formating ext4 to ext3 and see if that makes a difference
