Hello all,
I’ve got a PS2 iso loaded, and it will run fine if I launch it from PCSX2 directly. However, if I try to launch it from the Batocera (v30) GUI, it loads a black screen for a second then backs out to the game selection screen. I’ve double-checked my BIOS and that’s good (not to mention that it runs just fine if I go into the F1 menu -> Applications and run it directly through the PCSX2 configuration tool).
One thing I did notice though is that the configuration detects three regions of BIOS: Europe, Japan, and USA - and will always default back to Japan regardless of what I set it to. I have found nothing online that would allow me to determine which region of BIOS a file is (I use USA games). So, if that’s a potential cause of the game not loading in the GUI, then can someone help me figure out how to get the USA region setting to stick?
