I am unable to get the partition to expand during first launch. The partition expansion screen will sit idle for 10-15 minutes at 75% on first boot. Searching the internet a post relieved it could potentially be a problem with the drive itself, so I had it replaced the drive under warranty. Upon receiving the refurb drive, the same thing happened. So i am assuming this is not the problem? I then tried each of the previous releases back to 5.25 and all those fail to expand as well.
I think this drive originally started with 5.28 installed on it and I used auto update each time to the current release. One thing I just recalled is the original installation of 5.28 was on a different computer and then swapped into the computer in the photograph below.
The drive I am using is hybrid Seagate FireCuda. It looks like Batocera only seems to see the 6GB SSD portion of the drive.
Taking a look at the release notes - I see a few fixes related to partition expansion. Any ideas? Anything I should try?
