I’d say AMD mesa drivers are missing, these are the files under /lib32

I’ve installed an ubuntu on a pendrive, installed some packages and picked a few files under /usr/lib/dri, /usr/lib/va/drivers /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/:

Placed in my batocera and there’s no error about “Failed to initialize VAAPI” like before.

yagueitor just find out in latest beta that libs have been included, so hardware video acceleration works oob.

I’d say there’s no support for VDPAU nor VA-API in batocera for AMD.

I confirm that VA-API works.

I wished i knew how to add a pull request for this in github and to the right repository, but i have no idea.

Should I open an issue in https://github.com/batocera-linux/batocera.linux/issues?

There is already an issue at https://github.com/batocera-linux/batocera.linux/issues/3523 - would be great if you could add your comments/findings there or at least link to this forum thread.

BTW: It also does not work on SOCs (like Odroid-N2 in my case)

Tried it yesterday with the actual v31 beta: Does not work (yet) on Odroid-N2 - I just get a black screen.

Same here on my end. I have x64 running on Intel Nuc (6th Gen). I also get the black screen on the beta.

Moonlight from Batocera still broken, mine disconnects after few seconds from PC.

The Flatpak moonlight works, but I would be interested, if possible to have the games (moonlight roms) point to the flatpak moonlight?

I see that working like choosing the emulator for other systems, you could have there options to switch to the Moonlight version you want (the one that works)

AeoN did you find a solution to this? I’m in the same boat. I’ve had a ton of trouble using moonlight embedded, but got decent results using the flatpak. The only problem is I’m trying to keep my system keyboard-less (outside of maintenance), so having to F1 and launch moonlight is an inconvience that made me (temporarily) switch to steamlink. Being able to launch the game, through moonlight, from the batocera menu itself would be great. TIA
