I’ve been trying to get this thing working since last year. Every time I try, and everything I do does nothing. I’m on an RPi4 with an Argon One M2 case, running Batocera 30. Things I’ve done:
Followed the directions at the Batocera wiki for Argon One. This is in my batocera.conf:
##Accessories for RPi4
##ARGONONE --> Activate fan control for Argon One case
system.power.switch=ARGONON
I’ve created /userdata/system/configs/argonone.conf and added the default values listed in the wiki. After that didn’t work at all, I started to dig around a bit. I found this thread on the forums, and tried the only different thing I could find there; making a argononed.conf in /userdata/system/configs. I also ran /etc/init.d/S92switch status in the shell, and got:
/etc/init.d/S92switch status
Service rpi_gpioswitch [872] [ OK ]
I’ve no idea what else to try. I’ll monitor the temp, and watch it go to 55c+ (running things like PSP or Dreamcast to stress it), and that fan never kicks on. I’ve ran out of resources to try to get this thing to work. Has anyone else had any luck with this case fan?
