Output Via HDMI on broken screen laptop

So we had a HP Pavilion 6-1010SA. This laptop screen has smashed and so became economically not worth fixing. So I’ve installed the latest build of Batocera on a hard drive (using Etcha) so I can play retro games on it as it’s a shame to waste an Intel i5 and 8gb ram machine! however I cannot get the output via HDMI :-(

The keyboard does work and I have access to Dual shock 4 and Xbox One Bluetooth control pads.

Can someone help me get (blind) to the settings screen and select HDMI?

I’ve figured it out!

The keys to press are as follows:

Press Start

Down 9 times,

Press X or whatever button is to enter the menu

Down 5 times

Right 2 times

Down 8 times

Press X

Down 1 time

Press X X X

but, how you do if you can’t plug and config the JoyPad?
