How do I add PDF manuals manually ?

i want to edit gamelist.xml files myself and add some manuals to Batocera, without scraping these, but i fail to get any info anywhere on the net on how to do this. what do i have to add to <game> </game> to get manuals visible in Batocera ? they are in .pdf and i already have them i dont want to scrape also because i fear things might get overwritten or changed as i have altered most gamelist.xml files.

Little late of a reply but you need to edit gamelist.xml and in between <game> and </game> on its own line add <manual>./manuals/manualname.pdf</manual> make sure you have the correct path to your pdf
example:

	<path>./gamename.pc</path>

	<name>A awesome game name</name>

	<desc>A description of a great game</desc>

	<releasedate>19900101T000000</releasedate>
