Future pinball crash

I’ve v31 with all bios. Future pinball always crashes, it shows the loading screen for any table, but as it finishes it returns a critical error and freezes. Same happens when entering the config app and going to control configuration. It seems that if you’ve 2 controllers, this always happens, as per other people comments. Any idea? Thanks!

Same here. I will give up for the time being. Hopefully it will be fixed with the next revision. I do need two joysticks/controllers to play it with my arcade cabinet

I couldn’t get it to work either. Mine launches and then drops back to the batocera menu. Wierdly if I press F1 and launch the table from the main program (after opening it in the editor) it launches fine. Batoceranation ha been able to get it working out of the box (albeit with bios V31 BIOS Files). I followed his setup and used his tables from his download page. HAs anybody else had any success?

mojavaid36 I still have problems. When I enter the config menu and go to map controls, it returns an error. Same if just try to run any game. Really annoying

I think it doesn’t affect, the issue seems to come if you’ve 2 controllers, then future pinball collapses, and even there’s no way to config buttons. A critical error comes forever and ever

So I gave this another go today and renamed files also. Same issue just drops back to batocera screen.

I do have two USB arcade sticks connected. Disconnecting them is not an option as the install is in a cabinet/coffee table.

I can’t actually open tables anymore in the editor either on latest batocera. It just errors out.

Has anybody but Batocera Nation got this to work?

Any ideas anyone?

This is something that remains over and over again through time. It seems like Batocera Linux, has issue with duality of Arcade PCBs players. Any linux distribution of Batocera (non-official and official), will show that error

Hello’, I have exactly the same problem, namely an arcade terminal with 2 controllers. Has anyone found a trick, a solution to circumvent this problem? Thank you

liudov I posted some tips for future pinball in another thread. I got it working with an arcade terminal with 2 controllers (even use buttons from both controllers). It requires some manual steps to get working.
