Hi,
is anyone running a Competition Pro (USB version from SpeedLink) successfully on the C64 or Amiga cores - like we did back in time on the original machines?
I saw two obstacles when trying to use this classic joystick (replica) with Batocera
- This joystick only has 4 buttons, therefore I would prefer to configure only up, down, left, right, start, select, hotkey - and fire
- In my vice and uae core config, Fire defaults to B, but if I want to configure the joystick in ES, I cannot leave the A button unassigned, and I did not find a way to disable/remove the A assignment and assign the button to B instead.
Anyone with hints how to achieve this without changing the default core configuration?
Of course, I could use putty and edit the gamepad/joystick configuration file manually, but is there also a solution from the UI for an “average” user?
