Added music and now Batocera won't boot.

I have Batocera x64 installed on a USB thumb drive. Things appeared to be working just fine and then I decided to add some music by copying some ogg files into the /userdata/music folder. Now when I try to boot to Batocera, it plays the splash video and then the screen goes dark and everything is unresponsive. Is this a known problem and is there a solution? Or am I back to square 1?

maybe your ogg files are not compatible with batocera? i would first delete them and then try again to boot batoera and then, if batocera boots fine again, i would try with other music files (other format or re-encode the files with other parameters)

Thanks for the reply. I tried deleting them but it didn’t seem to make any difference.

I was thinking of upgrading the USB stick anyway so if all else fails I’ll just do that and copy the ROM files and saves over. But I’d love to get this all working without resorting to that if possible. :)

Is there anywhere that it might have copied these ogg files? Is it possible that I didn’t delete all of them?
