Hello!
I’m in need of help in regards of the backlight/brightness control of the official Raspberry Pi 7″ screen with Batocera. The thing is that this screen doesn’t really have any way to control this feature, so the only thing that has worked for me is to modify from system console with a nano command, the brightness value located in the sys folder inside the Rpi. Now, in RetroPie for example, this method works just fine, I can modify the value, save the file and it’ll stay like that forever, even after reboot. With Batocera I’m allowed to change the value and to save the file, but after reboot it goes to it’s original value again. I have tried so far to write a user script with the command inside using echo and nano, and it doesn’t seem to have any effect at all. Also I have tried to use batocera-overlay-save after I’ve modified and saved the value, and even though it shows that it was successful, it doesn’t have any effect after reboot.
Do you have any suggestions?
