System restart caused Batocera to reset to defaults and deleted all roms?

My batocera is up to date.

I did a normal manual restart and when batocera loaded up it reset everything to default and all roms probably almost 2k , and themes deleted?

Any ideas?

As was mentioned in that thread, the userdata partition is separate from the boot partition. ie. using the built-in tools, there is no way it could have changed your userdata partition (where all your roms/themes/configs are).

Are you sure that you haven’t reflashed the image or used the “install batocera to a new disk” option?

What do you have set as Storage Device? (See in EmulationStation Meun und System Settings) and what do you see under System Settings, Informatoin at User Disk Usage?
