Ok 1st - Why do you have the music at 100% when starting it up? That made my ear phones really loud and that’s not necessary

2nd- Why does the begging loading screen flash screen animations take so long to load and it is freezing and stuff this is on an I7?

3rd- From what I could try, all I get is no game loading - EX Metroid game I tried on the 3ds doesn’t work (gave me a fatal error) and why don’t you have the desume emulator on there for regular ds game emulation? On the Commodore 64 emulator there is buttons on a keyboard to press to somehow start the game, but no way to get out of it either so I had to power off the computer and power it back on again to get it to exit!

4th- why are there games on there by default that don’t want to play

5th-No way to connect to internet as it says no networks are found? I can’t get it to update w/out internet?

6th-The way the controller directional buttons are mapped in the mapping option is messed up if no one else has noticed this? There is left and right listed two times in there to map instead of up down left and right to map?

7th- In the separate screen to add the ROMS, there is no clear way to get back into the main emulator front end? I choose close menu and it gives a black screen had to power off and on the computer this shouldn’t be necessary either.

8th-Why can’t there be away to turn off the computer after closing down the thing? Unless after you close it from the menu it’s safe to just turn the computer off yourself?

These are all the things I have noticed so far.

Can you please be more precise in your problem qualifications? What Batocera version are you using, what architecture? And a more friendly tone would probably help too.

What device are you using? A handheld device with built-in speakers? Or a PC/Rpi connected to your TV? If a TV, don’t you have a remote? Or did you set up your TV to do “music/dialog enhancements” or things like that? There are also options to explore in the Sound settings.
So long to load or to play? You can disable it, check the information on the wiki. And in Batocera v32 you can change the resolution for the splash screen if it lags. Maybe you have a 4K TV?
No game is loading? So why are you complaining about not being able to get our of C64? You need to read the troubleshooting guide on the wiki, when emulators are not launching.
… to check that emulators are actually launching and your setup is correct? You can remove them if you have other roms, after the initial setup.
Same thing, you should assume that most people can get Internet connection from Batocera. There are many sources of information on how to troubleshoot that, if you take some time and do some research.
You should read twice what is written on the screen…. this is for the left and right analog sticks (and yes, you need only one direction, horizontal and vertical for each analog stick). “No one else noticed that?” … because most people take time to read what’s on the screen, maybe?
What is the separate screen to add ROMs? Are you using Batocera from the website, or a different pre-made image?
There is a menu to quit and turn off the computer, not sure how you missed it, really… Last item on the main system menu. And yes, you can just yank the plug off the wall, unless you are writing on the disk/USB card (scraping, saving games…) you’ll be safe.
