Hi, hoping someone can help. I have a GPi case with a Pi Zero W inside, and I’m trying to run Batocera on it. For the most part this is successful, and a great option for the device. However, I notice Atari 2600 audio is extremely choppy. This is the same on Recalbox also. I should add this is the most recent image for Batocera on the GPi, which is actually version 30.
I’ve tried adjusting some settings which improve it a little, but don’t go all the way. Primarily, changing the audio latency in Retroarch from 64 to 512 seems to improve it a bit, but the audio still skips and makes it uncomfortable to play.
I don’t really have the knowledge to know what to try next. Does anyone have any idea why Atari 2600 audio is so poor on both Recalbox and Batocera, and what I could possibly do from a user point of view to improve it further? Many thanks.
